• Question: where do you usually find the rocks that land on earth ?

      Deserts! Hot and Cold ones. This is because they are really easy to spot as big shiny black rocks in either sand or snow.

      Most meteorites these days are being found in North West Africa in the Sahara or In Antarctica. I really want to go to Antarctica to look for Meteorites. You can go with a group called ANSMET.

      On rare occasions people actually see the rocks fall from the sky. If this happens and people can get to them they can be anywhere. There is even a space rock that hit a car in the US!
