My favourite thing to do is experiments with lots of colours that work. Also, when I make something that does what it is designed to do. Outside of work, my favourite science demonstration is something called elephant toothpaste. It reacts hydrogen peroxide, yeast and washing up liquid together to create a huge amount of foam. Ask you science teacher if they’ll demonstrate it for you!

My favorite thing is to get new results. Sitting at a machine for a long time all day playing with lasers is really fun but when the numbers start coming in and I see it’s all working is an incredible feeling 🙂 you’re the first person ever to get this data and at that moment your the only person in the world to know it.

It’ll have to be looking for proteins in my cells. You never what’s going on with the cells when you treat them with diferent things and it’s always exciting to find out. Not so exciting when nothing happens though

I agree with the others that getting results from your experiments is really awesome. One of my other favourite things is getting to work with lots of other scientists who all work on really interesting things. I like hearing about what they find out, and how their experiments work.
