I was in primary school. I did alright until I had to do Year 9 SATS. Then I didn’t do as well I was expected to because I’m terrible at taking exams! Luckily I did alright by GCSEs and then A Levels I survived. I’ve never been one of these all A* students that you meet.
No, definitely not! Some of my friends were (and still are) way smarter than me. I just found subjects that I enjoyed and then made sure I worked hard 🙂
Depends on where you draw the line really. I would say I was in the top 10% throughout but towards the later 5% of that. There were several people I can think of who were way smarter than me. But I do think I am one of the only ones to be doing a PhD 😀
Honestly for me I’ll say it depends on the school you’re at. I was in one school and it seemed I was really smart till I changed schools and suddenly felt really challenged because there were lots of other really smart kids who seemed smarter than me. #RealityCheck for me.
