I think lust is a chemical reaction but I think love is a decision and a commitment. Lust is that “he’s hot” reaction, which I think must be chemistry in the brain happening. When you love someone it goes significantly deeper than chemistry.

All emotions are at their very basic level just different chemicals in your brain. But love is more than that as well. It goes above simple chemistry, you stick to it when otherwise you wouldn’t. It’s hard to describe.

Yes love is chemistry but it is also much more. And it’s that more which makes it so special.

To some extent, yes! something must trigger the butterfly feeling and excitment. 🙂

Some people might argue that it is! There’s a chemical that works in our brain called oxytocin and it makes us feel closely bonded with someone else. It also makes us more likely to trust someone, and reduces fear. Some people think that this chemical is also involved when we find someone attractive 🙂
