Question: In winter, I get really rough and dry skin, almost like eczema. I do have sensitive skin, but that is all year round. What makes sensitive skin/eczema occur, especially in the colder seasons?
During winter there is generally less moisture in the air due to the low temperatures and low humidity and the heating indoors does not help either. This causes some people to generally have drier than normal skin in winter. Best thing to do is stay hydrated, use oil based mosituriser. You can also get humidifiers for the home to add some moisture to the air.
