Our brain uses knowledge that we already have about the world to help us imagine things. For example, if I asked you to imagine an alien, you’d probably use information you have seen about aliens in films or cartoons to imagine an alien of your own. Our brains are able to combine lots of different information together to make something new, which I think is pretty awesome 🙂
