Question: how do cells die

Just as humans and other animals are naturally programmed to die eventually, cells are also programmed to die by a natural process called apoptosis.
There are other un natural ways cells die for example through infection, disease, etc. When this happens, the cells swells up and burst, leaking all the contents and they die.
