• Question: Can three year olds lie?

      Yes they can, but they are not very good at it! Studies have shown that three year olds can tell a lie, but they probably can’t keep the lie going for very long and will end up telling the truth quite quickly. As children start to get a bit older (around four or five years old), their lying skills start to get better.
