Our brain is responsible for any dreams we have, but a few things can cause nightmares specifically. They might happen because of stress, bad experiences, certain illnesses or certain medicines. Children are also more likely to have nightmares than adults. Don’t worry though, nightmares are perfectly normal things to have (although not very fun), and nearly everyone has them 🙂
