      I hope there is other life out there! The universe is so big, there must be something!!

      Some scientists are planning on going to mars! They are going to take the first lot of people in 2024. They will go to Mars to start a colony, but never come back! Take a look at their website http://www.mars-one.com/

      It’s very likely there is something out there, it would be weird if there wasn’t! Whether we can find it or not is the tough part.

      There are several groups of people talking about going to Mars, from the USA to China and even private companies. The one you will probably have heard of is Mars One which is also the link Imogen gives. Most of the Space science community think that are not really being careful enough and that their mission wont work.

      My money is on NASA or Elon Musk and SpaceX getting their first. They have approached it with a very sensible outlook and are actually listening to scientists about what is possible and what is not.

      I would bet a fair bit of Money that we will see people on Mars in our lifetime. I would bet even more money it won’t be Mars One.

      There is still a lot ojut we don’t know about so I won’t be surprised if there’s life out there somewhere. And yes! with all the space missions going on I’m sure scientist could find a way get to mars someday.
